Cap Tamarin welcomes within its Smart & Happy Village one of the health references in Mauritius, the C-Care Clinic. This new satellite clinic located at La Place Cap Tamarin aims to meet the needs of the inhabitants of the west by providing them with health care services in close proximity.
The clinic comprises a laboratory, radiography services, a fully equipped emergency service and an ambulance. Moreover, a team of 10 doctors will be present everyday for consultations. C-Care Clinic Cap Tamarin offers key outpatient services across various specialties: general medicine, physiotherapy, cardiology, oncology, E.N.T, osteopathy, endocrinology, orthopaedic surgery, plastic and aesthetic surgery and paediatrics. It is open for consultations from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7:30pm, radiology services everyday from 8am to 7:30pm, the laboratory from 7am to 4pm during weekdays and from 7am to 12pm on Saturdays. In addition, an emergency service and an ambulance are operational 7/7 from 8am to 7.30pm, and can be contacted by calling on 118.
This new clinic will enable the west coast inhabitants to receive high quality health care without having to travel all over the island. In case of emergency, the medical institution which is backed by an ambulance will transfer patients to the principal clinics of the country (either Clinique Darné in Floréal or Wellkin Hospital in Moka). “We are glad to launch this new clinic in the region, which until now lacked a full-fledged medical facility and is set to rapidly expand in the coming years.” shares Hélène Echevin, Executive Chairperson de C-Care.
