Preferred Qualifications – Degree/Certificate in Law & Management or a similar field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Good communication and writing skills.
Preferred Experience – 2+ years of experience as an Administrative and Statutory Assistant or in a similar position.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Administrative & Statutory Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of an organization by providing administrative support across various functions. They will ensure that the organization operates within legal boundaries and adheres to regulatory requirements.

1.Application and Renewal of Licenses and Trademarks

  • Gather necessary documentation and information for license and trademark applications.
  • Prepare and submit applications for new licenses or renewals.
  • Track renewal dates and ensure timely renewal of trademarks.

2.Renewal of Insurance Covers

  • Review insurance policies and coverage.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers for policy renewals and ensure that all insurance covers are up to date.

3.Planning of Receptionist/Attendant Duties

  • Schedule and coordinate receptionist and attendant duties.
  • Handle any issues or complaints related to reception services.

4.Data Protection Follow-up

  • Maintain data protection policies and coordinate with authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

5.Assist in Preparation of Board Meetings

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling and preparing meeting agendas.
  • Follow up on action items and resolutions from board meetings.

6.Assist in Preparation of Resolutions

  • Prepare draft resolutions as required.

7.Liaise with Banks for Changes and KYC Procedures

  • Communicate with banks regarding corporate accounts, charges, and fees.
  • Ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures and files are up to date and compliant.

8.Liaise with Authorities and Other Related Parties

  • Serve as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and government agencies, responding to queries and requests promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, legal counsel, and consultants as needed.

9. Comply with All Sustainability Commitments and Practices Implemented Within Business Units
